This song is a product of writer's block (hence, it's a remix) and a need to improve my mastering methods. Despite how I feel about the compositional aspect, it really was a turning point in my tenure as a producer.

I'll go ahead and ramble.

My previous mastering method was to, overall, EQ the instruments so that they didn't clip, then load the file onto Audacity, where I amplified the file volume. This is obviously a subpar method of mastering. Quality was inconsistent from song-to-song, and if I wanted to edit a song, the changes in quality between the initial version and the final version were drastic, usually in a bad way. With this song, I learned to EQ and master within FL Studio itself, meaning that making changes to song versions became (relatively) easy as pie.
